Carpinus betulus (Hornbeam) hedging unit 200cm x 50cm x 50cm. Hornbeam makes a wonderful hedge or large tree with mid-green leaves turning a brilliant yellow in autumn. It can retain some of the older leaves through the winter months. Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Trim hedges in late summer and they can withstand heavy pruning.

You will require 2 units per metre to form an immediate established hedge.
